Together let’ offer praise and thanks to the Lord for –
· The comfort of knowing that our gracious, merciful, and loving God is in control of all things and is working all things for our good and His glory!
· The progress of getting our after-school and Zoom Good News Clubs® ready to begin
· The message He has placed in our hands and hearts that tells us of His love and forgiveness
Please join us in prayer for –
· Our new Channahon team who will begin Good News Club at Galloway School – pray especially for Amy as she leads this team – they will begin on January 25
· Our Zoom club which will restart on January 17 (we have already received good response from families); also, for our club at Chaney-Monge School which is also scheduled to begin on January 25
· The kids in these schools and on other campuses where Good News Clubs will be held
· CEF workers and volunteers in war-torn areas of our world – their safety and protection
· His continued supply for our financial needs – if you would wish to partner with us in this way, go to our chapter website (www.cef3rivers.com) and click on the word “Donate” along the top of every page. Thanks for your consideration.
· Summer plans and needs – we shall be seeking ministry opportunities, summer missionaries, and our June Illinois training school – ask the Lord to guide us in every aspect and give us the tools we will need to be effective for Him
· Liberty School in Romeoville because we will begin an after-school club there shortly; also, for Elwood School to begin club there in March; Morris Grade School is planning to resume; Saratoga School and Aux Sable School clubs are also in the plans
· Nettle Creek School in Morris – it has been so difficult getting a response from the school leadership
· Russell, Mike’s TCE™ Level 2 online student with CMI® — Mike is his proctor
· Good News Clubs throughout Illinois – ask our mighty and magnificent God to continue opening doors for us
Our theme for 2024 is the priority of prayer – please pray like never before for the children because “it is not the Father’s will that any of them shall perish” (Matthew 18:14). Thanks so very much! Blessings, Mike – Hebrews 12:1 – 3
