Sunday my pastor spoke from Nehemiah 1 and reminded us of the importance of prayer. The Lord used his message to encourage me of the importance of communicating with my Heavenly Father.
Let’s begin with praise and worship –
· Despite the difficulties and hurts that surround us, our mighty God has perfect understanding of it all and is in total control – we may trust Him fully!
· Praise Him for the capable and dedicated volunteers who work and teach our Good News Clubs®
· Praise Him that He works all things together for our good – He loves and values each of us
Please pray with us for –
· After-school clubs meeting this week at Morris, Coal City, and Aux Sable – pray for the children who ae attending
· Us as we set our summer schedule for 5-Day Clubs® — may He lead and direct us
· Kadence, our summer missionary – ask the Lord to prepare her heart for the ministry ahead
· The special events sub-committee as we plan a Fall fund-raising event for the chapter
· The chapter finances – we can trust our God to supply our every need
· The CEF worldwide ministry – especially in areas where there is conflict and war
· Fred, one of our committee members, who has shoulder difficulty and in therapy until the end of this month – ask the Lord for healing
It is our privilege to serve our magnificent God – thank you for you supporting this ministry in prayer. We appreciate and value you. Blessings, Mike – Hebrews 12:1 – 3
