We’ve much to thank and praise the Lord for –
· The kids who have pre-registered for the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday – so far about 65
· Great opportunity last week in our Good News Clubs® to share God’s truth
· The positive response in Coal City and Momence to start Good News Clubs there
Please join us in prayer for –
· The egg hunt on Saturday – three sessions (10:30, 11:30, and 1:15) to share the truth of our living Savior; pray for open and receptive hearts; safety; dry warm weather – may He be glorified
· The kids who attend our clubs – most schools in our chapter are on spring break this week
· A CEF volunteer whose grandson died suddenly this past weekend – pray for her and her family at this time
· The chapter’s finances – praise Him for His faithful supply and ask Him to raise up additional partners – if you wish to help in this way please go to our website (www.cef3rivers.com) and click on the “Donate” button along the top of each page
· The pastor and church in New Lenox who has requested information about our summer missionary training – it would be our desire to see several students from his church attend our June school and work with us this summer
· Steve and Mike, who have been asked to do some training of a summer camp staff on May 29 – we had a good Zoom meeting several days ago with the camp director
· CEF workers and volunteers in war-torn areas of our world – their safety, effectiveness, and protection
· The local churches in our chapter area and their leadership – may they each see the value and importance of ministry to kids
· We, His Body, might have an ever-growing sense of our Lord’s sovereignty and peace – let’s always remember, God is in control
· Easter Party Clubs meeting throughout our state this week – may kids hear the truth of the risen Lord Jesus and trust Him as Savior
