PRAISE AND THANK THE LORD FOR –
· A great first weekend with our TCE™ Level 2 class – no technical problems and an eagerness among the students and instructors for the work set before them
· Some progress has been made on the redesign of our chapter website
· His goodness – we serve a good and loving God for whom all praise is due – let’s adore Him together now and through all eternity
PLEASE PRAY WITH ME FOR –
· The TCE 2 students – they next meet on September 25 and are scheduled to present their missions practicums – please be in prayer for Carol, LaVerne, and Karen as they each work to present their practicums
· The chapter’s plan to present two Zoom 5-week Good News Club® beginning the week of October 13 – pray for our prep and also pray we will effectively get the word out to families
· The one home GNC that will also begin in October – pray for the leaders as they prepare and for the kids who will attend – ask the Lord to use this for the good of the children and for protection
· The children of North Korea
· Pray for us as still have several hundred “Do You Wonder Why” booklets to distribute – pray especially for those who have received them thus far that our great God will use them to draw many to Himself; thank the Lord for the ones distributed last week
· Pray for Val as she returns to IHQ for recording another “Good News TV” session – we praise Him for this opportunity to touch the lives of children throughout the nation – what a marvelous opportunity
· Al Blackburn – he’s doing well and sees some progress; we are asking the Lord to bring complete heling and restoration
· God’s perfect provision for our September needs – looking for gifts totaling $9,000 by September 30 – He is able. If you would like to financially partner with the Three Rivers Chapter – go to the opening page of our website (www.cef3rivers.iorg) and click on the “Donate Now” button.
· The recording this week of a two to three-minute presentation on our chapter’s Instagram, FaceBook, and chapter website – this will promote the importance of children wearing masks, not trading or trying in someone’s else mask. Our hope is to keep CEF in the forefront
· The local committee as they think through and plan for a virtual fall fund-raiser that will replace our traditional fall luncheon
· Val as she begins to plan a virtual TCE Level 1 class that would start in early 2021
· The leadership of CEF – ask the Lord to enable each who are involved to be focused on our mission with a heart that exalts and trusts in the Lord Jesus
Only eternity will fully reveal the fruit of this ministry of prayer – thank you for loving the Lord, the children, and us. Blessings – Mike
